Let us walk you through how to order your cost report information!
Step One: Search Our Online Reports.
Looking for Information on a Specific Hospital?
Use the first column in the search screen to decide what hospitals for which you want information. Just enter the hospital's Zip Code, County, State, Hospital Name, or Medicare Provider Number. Be sure that you always enter state, as it is a required field. The fields that allow you to search for a specific hospital are circled in red.
Looking for Information on a Type of Hospital?
Use the second column in the search screen to decide how you want to narrow down your search. HDS provides a variety of ways for you to search for types of hospitals. The fields that allow you to search for a specific hospital are circled in blue. Be sure that you always enter state, as it is a required field.
Step 2: Choose Which Report(s) You Want to See
HDS displays the results of your search by hospital. Simply click on the arrow beside the hospital name to determine what reports are available, and for what years. If you want to purchase a cost report, simply click next to the year you wish to purchase.
Step 3: Purchase your Report(s)
HDS makes it easy for your to purchase your cost report information. Just check all the data you want, and press “Add to Cart”. HDS’s Cost Report search will automatically put this data in your cart, and start the checkout process for you.
The checkout screen will show you the cost associated with your purchase, and let you upgrade to a premium account if you wish. Simply press the Checkout button to submit your payment information, and you’re almost done!
Step 4: View your Purchased Data!
Once you check out, HDS will take you to your account landing page. This is the page that will hold all of the data you’ve purchased. Simply click on the format that you would like to see your cost report in. They will display on your screen!
